Dr. Shirleena Celestine is a revivalist, scholar, and global leader whose life is a living testimony that God does not waste a single chapter. With more than 35 years in ministry, she has preached and continues to preach across the world, in Africa, Europe, the United States and the United Kingdom, carrying the same message into every room she is sent to.
She did not arrive at this alone. Her direct mentors include Bishop Norman L. Wagner and Bishop Iona Locke, and behind them stands a family line that has served God for generations. Her father is a lead Elder at the Bethel United Church in the United Kingdom, following her grandfather who gave many faithful years as a deacon. Her great grandmother was a prophetess. Her great grandfather was a well known bishop in Clarendon, Jamaica. Dr. Shirleena walks in the mantle of all of them, and she carries that legacy deliberately.
Alongside the pulpit she holds a PhD in Social Science focused on Leadership and Women in the Workplace from the University of Lincoln UK, and over 25 years of executive leadership across six continents. As founder and president of SELAH Revival Ministries, she creates spaces where women are not managed or performed for, but genuinely met. Her teaching moves fluidly between prophetic insight, emotional intelligence, and the ancient wisdom of biblical typology. For Shirleena there is no separation between the boardroom and the altar. Both are places where women are called to know who they are and walk in it without apology.
Cristina Thompson brings nearly two decades of leadership in Operations and Hospitality. In 2020, she answered the call to full time ministry, carrying her gifts for leadership and administration into kingdom work.
Alongside her role at Selah, Cristina serves in the CEO Suite at Jews for Jesus, a global ministry reaching Jewish people with the gospel worldwide.
At the heart of Cristina's ministry is a deep passion to see women step into their God given identity, to know themselves fully as Daughters of the King. Through Selah Revival Ministries, she is committed to creating spaces where women encounter the love of Christ, experience true revival, and walk in the freedom of who they are in Him.
As a nurse by trade Crystal is passionate about helping others become their best version: healthy, healed, and whole in every facet of life. She is the mother of 4, including a daughter with Down syndrome, which has afforded her the privilege of experiencing God's awesome creativity and wonder in ways that have solidified her faith like no other.
One of Crystal's favorite scriptures is: "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose." Romans 8:28 NIV
Born in New Albany, Indiana, and raised in Louisville, Kentucky. Following her move to Los Angeles, California, she spent the next 35 years serving patients at UCLA Hospital, where she built a rewarding nursing career before retiring.
In retirement, Elaine enjoys a variety of creative pursuits, including making handmade cards, decorating gift packages, and learning to paint with both acrylics and watercolors.
Throughout her life she has valued creativity, lifelong learning, meaningful friendships, and the opportunity to care for others.
